JOHN TAFT
Bio, April 2009

John began painting fulltime in 2004 when he left a successful 18-year career as a designer and art director in television, and moved with his family from New York to Colorado. Originally from western New York, John studied design at Rochester Institute of Technology, and illustration while on scholarship at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Several cross-country road trips during his college years established a love for the variety of America’s landscape, and the West, in particular.
