Edward Aldrich is an artist committed to stretching his talents beyond simple reproduction of animals. He believes it is important to capture the feeling and being of the animal not simply a likeness of it.
The style of Mr. Aldrich usually allows the viewer to become part of the painting and to experience art as a feeling not just as a pretty picture. Through this unique ability to capture the subtle yet diverse tones of nature, Mr. Aldrich's work stimulates all of the senses giving the viewer the opportunity to actually become part of the painting not just to look at it.
In addition to appearing in Wildlife Art News magazine's Artist Vignette section November/December 1988 issue. Mr. Aldrich was featured in the September/October 1993 issue of Inform Art magazine. He was one of six artists chosen to be featured in American Artist magazine's Emerging Artists issue in August 1988. He was honored to be the cover artist of that issue and in addition, 1994 was the third year that Mr. Aldrich was accepted into the prestigious Birds in Art Show in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Mr. Adlrich shows in numerous galleries across the United States and Canada. He
