In twenty-five years as a professional artist, Joan Zygmunt has sculpted in
wood, bronze, silver and stone. Her work has found its way across the United
States and around the world. Her sculpture has been exhibited in such
prestigious venues as The White House, Washington DC; Birds in Art, Leigh
Yawkey Woodson Art Museum; Sculpture in the Park, Loveland, CO; A Celebration
of Birds, at the North American Ornithological Conference; and Brookgreen
Gardens, Pawleys Island, SC.
Recently, her Meadowlark Sculpture has become part of the permanent collection
of The White House.
Joan's work expresses her experiences in the wild, whether it's observing the
migration of cranes over the mountains or a close encounter with a herd of wild
horses.
